    I’m hoping somebody can give me some solutions to my dilemma.
    I ordered a replacement fitness watch from a company called fitbit. They don’t deliver outside of Europe so I have asked it to be sent to a friends friend living in London who will pick it up on their next trip. I received an email yesterday from Dpd to say that there was nobody home and they will try again today but unfortunately the person who is to receive it can’t be at home as she is working till this evening. DPD app is not downloadable in South Africa so there is no way I can track the parcel or even receive a ref number or organise an alternative delivery time. I have tried emailing but all emails come back as undeliverable. What can I do?
    Is there anyway you could courier it to South Africa at my expense. Alternatively you could phone the other girl to organise a suitable time or leave it at the post office?

      In my opinion, Just ask the girl getting the mail to her house (Sarah) to contact DPD and םrganize the delivery in the most convenient time for her.

  2. I live in the UK. This morning, I witnessed one of Dpd delivery drivers travelling at a grossly excessive speed on this road. We have a speed awareness team in place on this road as we are suffering from drivers exceeding the speed limit. This driver that was seen this morning, obviously has no regard for any speed limit on this road, which is currently 30 mph. The road runs through a residential estate and at the time, children were on their way to school. Please be aware, that excessive speed generally causes accidents, and I was unable to record the vehicle number to report it to the authorities. It would be appreciated if you would make your drivers aware of this problem that we have on this road, in particular, this driver needs to be spoken to. Thanks in anticipation.

  5. i ordered a product through Amazon was sent an email by dpd ‘sorry we missed you ‘ i was a bit mystified because i was in…. never mind, i duely suggested a safe place to leave the parcel. Another email, ‘sorry we missed you’ I WAS HERE !!! So i investigated further and noticed that the driver had gone to the wrong address, didn’t recognise the photo at all. Still ok at this time, What if i have the same problem again i am picking the parcel up from a local pickup point which is not
    ideal.

Flowers will not be arriving on the specified guaranteed delivery date as DPD have missplaced them the tracker says they arrived at oldbury depot last night when i didnt recieve my 1hr delivery slot i rang up and was told they are lost in the superhub and no one can find them to get them delivered today.
    They are a wedding anniversary and birthday present and we paid extra for Sunday delivery before 12pm. I am annoyed that we paid extra and were told it was guaranteed they would be here and they are not! As its sunday we are now left with nowhere to get flowers and feel it has ruined the day completely as my dad has no flowers to give to my mom…
    We do not want them a day late as they will be ruined being stuck in a hot factory for another day…

  7. Lenovo arranged for them to collect a laptop with a ‘all day time’….DPD never turned up. Items gets sent good old Lenovo returning the item, delivered to wrong address and can’t get hold of the driver…

  8. Hi I am expecting a fitness watch from fitbit to be delivered. My tracking number said it has been delivered to my neighbour at number 5 with the surname Mongey, my neighbours at number 5 are not called Mongey they are called Patmore and to top it off I was in between the time it stated it was delivered. I think it has been delivered to a wrong address, how can I get my parcel?

I brought some cloths from new look & when going to the delivery part of the online shopping I could only pick a precise time which I found very annoyed as the time was not what I wanted my DPD driver is very regimented & delivers to my area same time every time I have had a parcel delivered . & the time that was offered to me was not suitable. If I am buying something I want it delivered when I want it not when DPD want to deliver it to me .

  10. Appalling service. Driver didn’t even attempt to deliver at correct address at the time quoted. Requested delivery to neighbour. It didn’t occur. Then requested collection at local pick up point on the following day. Parcel not delivered. Trying to contact DPD by telephone now.

  12. I have been waiting all day for my parcel only for the driver to go to the wrong house (I know because he took its photo) and then get a message saying no one was in! I needed this delivery now. can’t speak to a human on telephone. Your service and attention to customers is atrocious!

  13. Lying drivers who say they’ve tried to deliver or pick up parcels who never even come near the house, let alone actually knock on the door. This is 3 times in one week. ‘Customer service’ is useless. Are as bad as the reviews say they are. Avoid at all costs.

  14. I agree this is a service. My son waited in all day and no-one rang the bell which they are asked to do by the notice on the door. I eventually got through to somebody but it was a complete waste of time complaining all they did was re-arrange the delivery. This item was needed today and that’s why it was arranged just to be fobbed off and they took the drivers word for it that nobody was in.

    Wait in all day, pay extra for a Sunday delivery.
    Check the DPD app and the driver was a mile away with my parcel.

    Then get a message saying no one was home so we left a card.
    Absolute hard! no attempt was made to deliver.
    I now have no parcel and no calling card so i cant even pick up it up from local depot etc.

    This is not the first time DPD have done this. What are we paying here for

Have been waiting in for my parcel my husband has been working on my car for 2 hours out side the house and I have just recieved a message saying can’t be delivered when I looked at the picture of the house it’s not even my house 🙁 so now I have to wait another day because they can’t read postcodes

    I was due to receive 2 parcels on Monday 28 November.. I specifically asked for them to be delivered to a DPD pick up shop. On that day, I have re used a sms saying there was a delay with delivery so parcels will be delivered on 29 November.
    On 29 November I receive an sms saying that my parcels are going to be delivered on 30 November upon my request? I have never requested a re-delivery especially when it is sposed to go to a DPD pick up shop, it does not make sense.
    Today AGAIN, apparently I have requested my parcels to be delivered on 1st December? What is going on? Someone is messing up with my delivery.

    Can someone help me find out what is happening here? I am very unhappy about it

    I paid to have it delivered at my local sainsbury
    Why should I change it ??
    Last time they did something similar .. Saying I was not in .. I waited all day ..

  20. I am expecting a parcel today and got a message saying the delivery was rescheduled to Jan, 2017 as requested. I certainly did not request it because it is supposed to be Christmas gift. So I wonder who requested it.

    I am looking to find a person to talk to because the phone system did not have that option and the emailing system is not very responsive.

  21. I have a parcel on the way with DPD. on december the 19. th the tracking status was: “We’ve received your order details, and we’re expecting your parcel shortly”.

    My question is:

    Have You recieved the parcel yet or is it still on the enders hands? I would expect he parcel to have gotten a bit further since the 19th.

    I have contacted DPD twice thru the contact form on their website, but have stille not gotten a reply.

  23. I have received an email allegedly from DPD which looks suspicious saying a parcel could not be delivered and it has been returned to the depot and to open a label. I have tried to email DPD to ask if this is spam or malware or actually from the DPD. Sounds unlikely as DPD leave a card and options. I could forward this email for inspection but there is no email customer contact except for lost packages and enquiries about specific items with reference numbers

  24. i am regular business customer to DPD and regularly spending 500 to 1000 on monthly base by booking ad hoc collections.

    But, driver most of the time do not seems to pick up our full collections. We book over 50 parcels, extra large in size which require a separate empty vehicle. However, seems to send us regular VAN trip, driver with no space or very tiny space, And, driver takes 5% of our bookings which update their system as collection taken where as 95% parcels normally left behind. but makes no difference.

I have had an email from DPD stating that a delivery could not be made, we have had no card through the door, and cannot even contact a human being at CPD to discuss who this has come from, where it is or what it may be, the email sent had an attachment, and was deleted, is there anyone out there who can help?

    DPD completely my delivery and the only reason I resolved my issue was because the 2nd operator I spoke to was on his last day and was able to behave like a helpful human being because he did not adhere to DPD’s. unbelievable system

  29. I have had several problems with DPD, such that when I am aware it is a company’s delivery agent, I cease business with them. Unfortunately, I sent my mobile phone off to Virgin Media for repair and once repaired received an email message to say the phone had been dispatched by DPD – my heart skipped a beat, due to past dealings with them. The problem, is as it always has been, their driving attempts to deliver it to the wrong address and leaves a card there. Some weeks later I phoned Virgin Media to enquire why the phone I had been delivered and was told DPD tried to deliver and had left a card. As I did not get the non-delivery card I do not have a tracking number. And as DPD does not allow any communication with their automated system without a tracking number can not resolve the non-delivery by that means. To make matters worse their website does not, as far as could obtain, have a contact telephone number, hence another possible route to a successful resolution is not open to their customers’ , recipients. Lastly, Virgin Media, who thankfully have a contact/support department, does not automatically have access to tracking reference numbers only their job number, which did not give me access to DPD’s automated web ‘service’* I use quotes marks as what most people would classify as a service is being redefined to a new lower level than what they would define it as. The real shame is that a 1 minute conversation with a human being would resolve why it is their driver(s) keep getting the address wrong. Anyway, I have put Virgin media’s tech department on it , and informed that a customer of years is very unhappy with their choice of delivery agent
