  3. We should have received confirmation from them on 14 August that payment for this transaction was forthcoming. Those guests spent 5 nights and have now left. They paid Homeaway on 12 December 2017 but we have not received notification from them and we have not been paid. We are unable to find any other e-mail address or help with non payment and closest telephone number is in England.

  4. It has been over a month that homeaway didn’t pay my money for the booking I hosted. The last time name is Luis gave me feedback about the issue and asked my bank statements which I sent it immediately and than Anastas gave me feedback and said “I do realise that it is not acceptable and that such a delay is a very serious matter. As advised in my previous e-mail, I can assure that our relevant team is working on providing a solution to it and will be notified as soon as they have any information. This must be a joke because I still didn’t get paid!

    Here is the details and it is already a month late!

  5. Absolutely – have our deposit and have not refunded us back after 3 weeks
    The reservation ID is – the property ID is- last person spoken too twice was Omar in call center who keeps saying Tech Support are looking at it !!!
    2 unanswered e mails and and unhelpful web chat
    The owner of the villa has also called twice and is not happy as we are not and they are still trying.
    We have still heard nothing despite promises for today and no refund and over 3 weeks – We need this sorted and this company to adhere to their refund policy – I shall write and e mail and contact all the board until fulfil obligations

    We have now sold our villa

  7. We have had a very bad experience with a condo we rented in Scottsdale, Arizona USA for 2month. The owner was also very unfriendly , not helpful at all and very difficult to deal with. The unit we are talking about is:
    11375 E Sahuaro Dr (Frank’s on Shea condos), Unit 2060, on your Webpage HomeAway UK with property! The condo was not clean at all when we arrived and some items are very dated. The kitchen equipment is very poor ! ….absolutely not HomeAway/VRBO Standard! Please advise where we can place an official negativ review, although we have paid to owner directly and not through HomeAway?

  8. I have been waiting for 4 weeks to get a refund for a service charge as the Villa’s owner cancelled within 12 hours of the booking.

    The customer service is poor and slow and has stated that they made the refund but 10 days later informed me they had a system problem and had made the refund. Still no sign of the refund.

    I am concerned that they are in financial trouble and this is the reason the refund has not arrived.
