  1. I absolutely cannot believe the shocking experience I have had from this company. My parcel arrived in the country at their office 2 weeks ago. I specifically left instruction to call me because the intercom to our large block of flats is broken.

    They have driven to our house 4 times and not delivered because they intercom doesn’t work.
    Even after calling everytime to arrainge a date and let them know the intercom is broken and they need to call when they are outside. I have specifically take off work to be home.

    So the cost of me taking 3 days off work = £1200 the cost of them driving to me 4 times =£? The cost of a phone call to say, in down stairs = £0.05

    I don’t have a vehicle to collect the parcel from their office which is to big to carry on the tube or bus. So I’m now expected to pay for a taxi to and from their office!!!!?????? 😡

  2. How complicated can they make it?
    Dozens of contact phone numbers, Their own website says they are open on Sundays, yet this site suggests not: http://www.parcelforce.com/contact-us.

    I’ve just tried phoning their 0344 209 6101 number from France and can get through but then we go round in a loop of ” if you… press 1, if you…. press 2. ” Doesn’t matter what you press, it just goes back to ” if you …. press 1 .”

    Do they work on Sundays or not?

    My main reason for trying to phone is because I ordered a present online for my mum who lives in London, retailer in England but I’m in France. Added additional note for ParcelForce to say she is nearly 90 so please wait for her to get to the door.
    Needless to say, parcel not delivered, returned to depot. My mum said she heard the knock on the door and was in the living room but by the time she got there the guy was already back in his van and she couldn’t grab his attention. Living room to door is 5 metres!!!!
    She phoned to arrange a new date but now cannot remember what date or time. Hence my attempt to call.

    So, does this 0344 800 4466 number work outside of the UK or does it just go to the first hurdle and then run a loop after that because it cannot understand the buttons being pressed because it’s not within the UK? Or is the loop thing because they do not work on Sundays? If they don’t then they should amend their website and the robot should say they are closed.
    The France number is just rubbish – I don’t speak French that well and as far as I can tell it doesn’t deal with queries like mine because the retailer and recipient are both in the UK.

    I shall try again tomorrow and phone the depot instead of the main number but as I said up top – how complicated can they make it?

  3. service ever. My package was picked up , crossed America plus the Atlantic in 4 days and arrived at Heathrow on the 1st November. Now 12 days and counting to come from Heathrow to South Lanarkshire ( approx 400 miles )
    Helpline is useless, email address does not work.
    In future I shall ask the supplier to use

  4. they are the I cannot even believe what I am going through

    I ordered an item from Australia to the UK. I got two emails, first one saying my item has cleared customs and the other saying an attempted delivery was made.

    Now only for me to call and the agent is telling me a bunch of rubbish that I have to pay. After I was told that an attempted delivery was made and on another occasion their agent told me from her system it seems no charge for the parcel and they are just waiting for customs to release my parcel before they can deliver
