    I’m sorry i have written this message here but I am not writing to complain but to praise a member of the staff, unfortunately I can’t find a suitable email address.
    I had tried to book a holiday online but had some issues so went into store where I had been met by the most welcoming and friendly staff member. Her name was Lora and she was in store in the 2016.
    She was very helpful and friendly and even when there had been an issue with a gift card I had tried to use, she did everything possible to rectify the issue and maintained a professional and friendly attitude.
    I wanted to let you know as I feel she should be commended for how lovely her service had been with myself, and I even noticed this with a customer she had previously been speaking to, showing that she is just a lovely person.

    1. I have a similar experience with the Bromley office.
      Sara has been more than patient organising a complex holiday to Memphis and then on to Las Vegas. As it’s a special holiday I decided to upgrade to traveller plus on BA. We had lots of issues but nothing seemed to much trouble and I was always kept in touch with progress.
      Have already started discussing next years holiday. A real asset to the travel industry
      How do I bring this to the attention of a senior manager who can provide the correct recognition?

  2. What a shambles the Thomson after travel complaints proceedure is. I claimed for flight compensation in May which was successful and was paid €300. I was informed by letter with cheque that as I was not lead name on booking and the remaining members of my family would have to claim indivually, which they did. Letters were sent recorded delivery and were signed for by Thomson on 3rd July. I have tried calling, emailing and even been to the local shop to try and get some information as to why the 56 days have long passed but no response apart from the generic email thats states the days they will reply I have even quoted the Thomson staff Hemma Parma who wrote the letter and reference number newcastle. So infuriating when no one has the deceny to email or contact via mobile.

  4. To Whom it may concern:

    As a last resort , I am writing Thomson Directors to express my dissatisfaction with being charged £ every time I logged on to the Thompson Dream Internet. I had a total of 24 charges instead of the £ for one week that I selected at the beginning of the week more than doubling my bill at the end of the week.

    I reported this issue on the Thompson Dream (who were not interested) and then the next day when I returned home at the Corby Store (who told me they could not authorise a refund from the store). This morning I called customer service department and was told they did not have a copy of the invoice

    Frustrated at my experience in dealing with ‘Customer Service’ I went to the store in Corby and spoke with Craig the manager. He had a copy of the document in question why didn’t customer services? Craig re-forwarded this to Thompson CS Team.

    I think the 28 day policy Thompson have is an insult to Thompson customers, if it were they, would you be happy?

    I was going to book another cruise with Thompsons on my return on the 15th October (like I did on returning from a cruise on the Thomson spirit in May) , but due to the situation and the apparent lack of influence at the Corby Store or reassurance from Customer Service, I booked with Royal Carribean instead.

    Thompsons lost £ revenue to a competitor as a result.

    Craig at Corby has been good enough to chase this up again this morning for me, and I have always found the team to be very helpful when I have been purchasing holidays previously. Thompsons do seem to be under resourced at this store especially during busy periods where customers are having to wait, not a fault of the staff there.

  6. still waiting for answers from emails and letters from a accident from 2014 last heard anything 12months ago nothing since after emails still no reply after the 28 days that they are to reply to any body got any ideas how to get in touch with thomsons bit of a secret service company

  7. Went on Thomson discovery ship in Oct 2016 with a number of complains, most of which could have been solved by the store if given the right information. Some of the complaints was as simple as use the £ instead of €. The noise was terrible, all week the pools where closed but most of all there tender boats were leaking. These are some of the problems. I’m still waiting on a reply.

  10. I have been trying to contact Thomsons for days to find out whether my room will be ready . I am travelling I spent all day. programme Change team , All I want know is have I got the Holiday I booked OR can I have my money back… I do not want to go to the airport to find my resort and hotel changed .

  11. I was contacted fairly quickly by Tina Sole who discussed our complaint and made an offer. She then said she would email her direct number and a summary of our conversation. I have tried to email without success just get the automated reply. It all sounded so professional and promisingly when she rang but that has proved not to be the case…

I have been chasing my flight delay claim with them for nearly a year now – constant phoning them to be told that their duty officer cannot get hold of their own flight delay department and that he will call me back. Nathi has still not phoned me back and its costing a fortune repeating the same story time after time. I am raising with today and trying to contact their CEO as flight was 5 years ago now and I have reached the end of my tether!
